This is more than the 187 Horsepower that the CX-5 offers. You may also be able to spend less time at the gas station with the fuel tank capacity of 18.5 gallons that the Subaru Outback has that is significantly more than the CX-5. If you plan on doing some towing, the Subaru Outback also stands out with its 2,700 pounds of towing capacity that it offers compared to the Mazda CX-5 and its ability to only tow up to 2,000 pounds.
