Under the hood, every new 202 Subaru Forester model comes equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine, delivering 182-horespower and 176 pounds-feet of torque, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable and commanding driving experience all around Walla Walla. The engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission that provides a smooth and responsive driving experience, while also allowing for impressive fuel economy in the city and on the highway, making it great for everyday driving. There's also paddle shifters on every model, so you can take simulated manual control when you want it.

Every new Subaru Forester model comes with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, providing you with optimal traction, handling, and control, whether you're driving in poor weather conditions, or you're taking your adventures off the beaten path when enjoying your favorite outdoor activities.

Exterior

Every Subaru Forester has a boxy, upright design that lends well to interior space. Every model comes with raised roof rails for your preferred roof rack or even rooftop tent. Inside every new 2022 Forester model, you'll be greeted with spacious comfort for passengers and cargo alike. Passenger volume is an impressive 111.9 cubic feet, with an extra 28.9 cubic feet of cargo space for all your gear. Fold down the rear seats and you can utilize up to 74.2 cubic feet of cargo space, making it great for trips to the store, camping, skiing, and more. Cloth upholstery comes standard, but leather upholstery is available, as is StarTex® water repellent upholstery on Wilderness models.

You can stay connected and control a variety of vehicle features thanks to the standard Starlink multimedia system. The Starlink system comes on either a standard 6.5-inch or available 8-inch touchscreen display, and with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, you can sync your smartphone using Bluetooth or a USB cord and enjoy handsfree control of calls, music, apps, messaging, maps, and much more, either using the touchscreen or using a steering-wheel-mounted voice command system.
