It's always one of our favorite times of year when we get to introduce our customers from Kennewick to Walla Walla to the latest Subaru styles and models. For 2022, that excitement is bigger than ever, thanks to some major news coming from our favorite carmaker. From new generations and redesigns of two popular models, to an upcoming, all-new electric vehicle, the future of the Subaru lineup is looking bright.
2022 Subaru WRX
The longtime favorite compact sedan returns with a whole new generation in 2022. Launching its fifth generation, this all-wheel drive car delivers performance and handling, thanks to its new, standard engine with 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It also gets new tech features and a nice redesign, with something to please everyone.
2022 Subaru BRZ
In another significant redesign for 2022, the rear-wheel drive-only, two-door coupe from Subaru is launching its second generation this year. It also receives a new engine, with 228 horsepower, and has two trim levels and two transmissions to choose from.
2023 Subaru Solerra
The first-ever, all-electric vehicle from Subaru is coming our way. You read that right. Although technically a 2023 Subaru model, the Solerra is expected to arrive sometime in mid-2022, which makes it an exciting addition to our lineup sometime in the near future. Regardless of when it actually arrives, we're excited to meet this groundbreaking SUV and experience it firsthand with a test drive.
