McCurley Integrity Subaru is Proud to Support Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington

We are always incredibly grateful for your business. We love the great relationships we have with longtime customers who become friends, and we love meeting new people and really getting to know our new customers.

But in May, we are even more appreciative than usual. A portion of proceeds from your purchases in May have been set aside for Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington. We’re thrilled that your patronage has allowed us to make a positive impact on the lives of some local families.

Last year we raised $109,404. Tomorrow we will present a check to Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington at Columbia Park at the Beach Party Banquet following another day of the Corvettes on the Columbia event. The banquet starts at 5:30, but Corvettes will be arriving in the morning for judging- the car show ends at 2:30. The weather looks promising, so bring your sunglasses!

About Make-A-Wish

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. This work brings immeasurable joy to children and families who really need it. As you can imagine, the wishes of children are varied and imaginative.

These are just a few of the wishes fulfilled for local Washington area kids.

  • Becoming a police officer
  • Creating a cartoon that portrays her journey with cancer
  • Going to Wonderland (created in partnership with Nordstrom and the Space Needle!)
  • Upgrading and updating his high school baseball field

And there are so many more! All of these dreams are made possible by donations of time, materials, and funds. We are delighted that we can provide even a small portion of the resources that can help to make these wishes a reality.

Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington granted six wishes in its first year. This year it will be able to grant over 300. There are still children on the waiting list though, and we are always working to eliminate the gap between wishes wished and wishes fulfilled.

If you can visit Columbia Park tomorrow for Corvettes on the Columbia, we’d love to welcome you in the celebration of Make-A-Wish’s contributions to the lives and emotional wellbeing of local children and families!
